If you’re facing Bluetooth connectivity issues, please follow these steps:
- Fully Charge the Chameleon: Ensure your Chameleon is fully charged before troubleshooting
- Confirm app and firmware versions: Please ensure that both the XbotGo app and the firmware are updated to the latest versions.
- Exclusive Bluetooth Connection: Ensure that only the Chameleon is connected via Bluetooth. Disconnect any other XbotGo devices that may be paired with your phone, as they could interfere with the connection.
- Grant Bluetooth Permissions: Check that the XbotGo app has the necessary Bluetooth access/permissions enabled in your phone’s settings. Without these permissions, Bluetooth functionality may be blocked.
- Reset the Bluetooth: Press the Chameleon’s power button twice quickly to reset the Bluetooth connection. This may help resolve any issues with pairing.
- Restart Your Phone and App: Restart your phone and completely close the XbotGo app before reopening it. This can often resolve connection issues by refreshing the Bluetooth settings.
If the problem continues, try connecting the Chameleon to a different phone. If it successfully connects, the Chameleon device is functioning correctly. You can then test again with your own phone after disconnecting the other paired device.
Additionally, if the issue persists, please share your phone model and operating system for further assistance. If possible, provide the debug log by going to My → Settings → Upload Log and following the instructions. Please also share your account email so we can match the log with your details.
