If you’re facing Bluetooth connectivity issues, please follow these steps:
- Fully Charge the Gimbal: Ensure your Gimbal is fully charged before troubleshooting
- Updates Confirmation: Make sure the XbotGo app is updated to the latest version. This can help ensure compatibility with the Gimbal. You can check for updates in your app store if needed.
- Exclusive Bluetooth Connection: Verify that only the Gimbal is connected via Bluetooth. Disconnect any other XbotGo devices that may be paired with your phone, as they could interfere with the connection.
- Grant Bluetooth Permissions: Ensure that the Bluetooth permissions for the XbotGo app are enabled in your phone’s settings. Without proper permissions, the app may not be able to connect to the Gimbal.
- Reset the Bluetooth: Press and hold the shutter button on the back of the Gimbal along with the power button on the front for a few seconds to reset the Bluetooth connection. This can help resolve pairing issues.
- Restart Your Phone and App: Restart your phone and fully close the XbotGo app before reopening it. This can help resolve any lingering connection issues.
If the issue continues after following these steps, please try connecting the Gimbal to a different phone. If the connection is successful, it indicates that the Gimbal is working properly. You can test it again with your original phone after disconnecting any other Bluetooth devices.
